The north west coast of Skye is a haven for birds. Gannets, Sea Eagles, Fulmars and Cormorants make it an ideal spot for bird enthusiasts. Not to be outdone, during the summer months pods of Dolphins and Basking Sharks are often seen on the coast of Skye. The local seals are very friendly and playful and can often be spotted basking on the rocks. The occasional Minke Whale and even Orca’s have been known to make an appearance.
