Hiking / trekking by Atholl Estates

Atholl Estates has 145,000 acres of hills, woodlands and open countryside just waiting to be explored. Recognised as an area of natural beauty with plenty to see and do, the estate was admitted into the Cairngorms National Park in 2010

There is a fantastic network of walks on Atholl Estates, exploring our glens and woodland and open moorland. Longer routes take you into the hills and the wilder parts of the Cairngorms.

For the intrepid walker, there are six Munros and two Corbetts and various long-distance routes through the hills such as Glen Tilt and the Minigaig Pass.

There are many paths in the woods between the castle and the caravan park which you can explore yourself. We also have six waymarked trails ranging from the one mile Red Squirrel Trail in the woods to the beautiful 10 mile Glen Tilt Trail.
