Fishing / angling by Loch Insh Outdoor Centre

Loch Insh has had record breaking catches back in the 80's, although the salmon are few and far between these days we have plenty of hungry pike out there, 30+ regularly caught

We also have Brown & Rainbow Trout as well as a wee shoal of endangered Arctic Char still fighting their corner with some cracking three pounders last year.

Our Gillie will tell stories of catching seven pound char in the 70's which he later found out would have stood as the UK record for char till this day!
