Abernethy Barcaple is located in a secluded setting in the rolling hills of Dumfries and Galloway near Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright. Loch Ken is within easy reach, as are the magnificent beaches of the Solway coast.

Whether it’s on a calm loch, through white water on a river or as a varied coastal journey, an expedition on an open boat is an exciting challenge. Unlike kayaking, a Canadian canoe allows a shared experience and a chance to work as a team – as well as an easy way to carry equipment for nights away.
